My Journey


I want to share a bit of my own story with you. A few years ago, I started experiencing hot flashes that would turn to chills immediately. My patience was so short, I even wanted to divorce my husband. It felt like my eyes were opened to everyone around me just wanting something from me. I gained weight, and anxiety hit me out of nowhere, followed by depression. It was a lot to handle.


I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, so I didn't get bad periods or anything like that. My mom was adamant that I shouldn't go on any hormones and kept encouraging me to figure it out naturally. So that's what I did, and today I'm going to share with you the exact steps I took to stop my menopause symptoms.

1. Check Your Blood Type


The first thing I did was check my blood type. I ordered a Blood Type Test from Amazon to find out my blood type, Then, I ordered this book called 'Eat Right 4 Your Type.' From there, I started incorporating the recommended foods, and slowly but surely, my symptoms began to dissolve.




2. Use Cronometer to Track Nutrition


Using the free version of Cronometer, I met my daily goals of magnesium, fiber, protein, and Omega-3. I also added a magnesium supplement every night before bed, which helped me get a good night's sleep.


3. Strength Training


I included strength training three times a week. This helped with weight management and boosted my mood and energy levels.


4. Manage Stress


Managing stress is crucial. Techniques like deep breathing, meditation, and mindfulness helped reduce my anxiety and improve my overall well-being.


5. Prioritize Sleep Hygiene


Good sleep hygiene can make a huge difference. Besides the magnesium supplement, creating a relaxing bedtime routine and keeping my bedroom cool and dark helped regulate my hormones and mood.




6. Add Prebiotics and Probiotics


I added prebiotics and probiotics to help with hormone regulation.
